I am developing an AGC system for a satellite positioner.
I take the AGC signal at the receiver tuner.
on my main installation (2m prime focus) the variation is related to the signal level.
this signal decreases as it moves away from the ideal point.
I have just done the same test with an offset of 90cm and I have a strange reaction: the level of the AGC signal remains at 100% close to the ideal pointing then the quality drops to 0 as it moves away but the AGC signal remains at 100% !!!
I changed the LNB for an inverto but same result!

To do tests on my new program I built an electrical extension cord with a single cable (7 wires) where there are the pulses and the motor wires.
in the main installation (30m) the cables are separated (2.5mm for the motors / 0.75mm for the pulses).
in my extension they are close: as a result I have lots of pulse errors!!!
I knew for a long time that you shouldn't do it like that!! but in a hurry I tried, it's not a good idea.
my friend captain jack had this problem and I convinced him to put separate cables and since then no more problems.
Um mein neues Programm zu testen, habe ich ein elektrisches Verlängerungskabel mit einem einzigen Kabel (7 Drähte) gebaut, in dem sich die Impulse und die Motordrähte befinden.
In der Hauptinstallation (30 m) sind die Kabel getrennt (2,5 mm für die Motoren / 0,75 mm für die Impulse).
In meiner Erweiterung liegen sie nahe beieinander: Dadurch habe ich viele Pulsfehler!!!
Ich wusste schon lange, dass man das nicht so machen sollte!! Aber in Eile habe ich es versucht, es ist keine gute Idee.
Mein Freund Captain Jack hatte dieses Problem und ich habe ihn überzeugt, separate Kabel zu verlegen, und seitdem keine Probleme mehr.

Ich habe meine Platinen erhalten.

Sehr nützlich im KU-Band (weniger effektiv im C-Band?).

The principle of my positioner (and others too)
It is to have a pointer (AZ or EL) which is the actual position of the parabola.
This value (for different reasons) can be erroneous or shifted but the positions originally assigned to each satellite position have not changed!!!
By reinitializing this pointer all the values in memory are again valid without having to be modified!!!
The limit values are there to prevent a mechanical blockage and have no influence on the memorized positions of the sats.

Es soll einen Zeiger (AZ oder EL) haben, der die tatsächliche Position der Parabel anzeigt.
Dieser Wert kann (aus verschiedenen Gründen) fehlerhaft oder verschoben sein, aber die ursprünglich jeder Satellitenposition zugewiesenen Positionen haben sich nicht geändert!!!
Durch die Neuinitialisierung dieses Zeigers sind alle Werte im Speicher wieder gültig, ohne dass sie geändert werden müssen!!!
Die Grenzwerte dienen dazu, eine mechanische Blockade zu verhindern und haben keinen Einfluss auf die gespeicherten Positionen der Sats.

I worked on polarotor management in the case of an AZ/EL mount like the EGIS engine.
